NON-CHIPKILL MEMORY

Non-Chipkill memory performs in a similar way to standard PC memory which doesn't have the Chipkill feature. These memory modules should be used in non-mission critical servers/workstations where the end user can tolerate server/workstation downtime if the module develops a fault, in which case the whole module will need to be replaced. However, Non-Chipkill modules have up to 25% lower power consumption than Chipkill modules.
